Privacy Policy – SFBB One

mcg.software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the SFBB One mobile application. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

  1. Information Collection

SFBB One uses Firebase Authentication, including anonymous sign-in, so app data can sync and team access can work. If you create or link an account, we may receive account details such as your email address, display name, Apple/Google sign-in details, and Firebase user ID.

The app stores information you enter, including business details, team details, food safety records, diary entries, checks, notes, incidents, suppliers, contacts, custom modules, audit records, and selected food hygiene rating information.

Optional features may request access to contacts, camera, photo library, notifications, and device authentication.

  1. How Information Is Used

Your information is used to provide app features such as food safety records, team access, cloud sync, reminders, reports, exports, support, subscriptions, and account management.

If you use the AI feature, relevant app context and records may be sent to the configured AI provider to answer your question.

  1. Data Storage

Core app data is stored in Firebase Firestore and may also be cached on your device for offline use.

Some settings, cached data, AI chat history, generated reports, and local preferences are stored on your device. Local data may be included in device backups if enabled.

You can delete account and app data from within the app. If you are part of a business you do not own, deletion may remove your access without deleting the owner’s business records.

  1. Advertising and Tracking

SFBB One does not use your data for advertising and does not intentionally track you across other apps or websites.

  1. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services including Firebase, Apple, Google, App Store or Play Store services, Food Standards Agency / Food Hygiene Rating Scheme APIs, AI providers, mcg.software support services, and device services such as contacts, camera, notifications, mail, print, sharing, and backups.

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be published within the app, on the app listing, or on our website.
